His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana was on a one-day State Visit to the Republic of The Gambia on Friday, July 12th 2024. President Akufo Addo was received at the Banjul International Airport by His Excellency President Adama Barrow and various Cabinet Ministers including the Minister for Foreign Affairs and other high-level government officials
During his visit, President Akufo Addo had a bilateral meeting with President Adama Barrow where they discussed the long-standing relationship between the two countries and the various sectors of collaboration especially in the education sector. President Akufo Addo also visited the Ghanaian ECOMIG contingent in Barra, was hosted to a state lunch by President Barrow and bade farewell at the Banjul International Airport.
