The African Affairs Directorate is responsible for managing and strengthening The Gambia’s bilateral and multilateral relations across the African continent. It oversees engagements with regional institutions such as the African Union (AU), ECOWAS, NEPAD, CENSAD, and the African Development Bank (AfDB). This Directorate also coordinates the work of the Senegalo-Gambian Permanent Secretariat and other key strategic partnerships within Africa.
