๐๐€๐๐‰๐”๐‹, ๐Ÿ8th ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”: The Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, Hon. Sering Modou Njie, on Tuesday 15th September 2026, received Mr Hassan Alaoui Mostefi, the newly appointed Chargรฉ d’Affaires of the Kingdom of Morocco to The Gambia, who presented copies of his Letters of Credence.

In welcoming the Chargรฉ d’Affaires, the Honourable Minister thanked the Kingdom of Morocco for its longstanding friendship, invaluable contribution, and remarkable support to The Gambia’s national development efforts, and assured him of the Ministry’s fullest support under its open-door policy. He also extended his gratitude and appreciation to his counterpart, His Excellency Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco.

In response, Mr Alaoui Mostefi thanked the Honourable Minister and pledged to further strengthen the already cordial and longstanding relations between The Gambia and Morocco.

The Gambia and Morocco continue to enjoy strong bilateral ties anchored in mutual respect, shared values, and cooperation across diplomacy, trade, defence, education, and religious affairs.
