๐๐€๐๐‰๐”๐‹, 7๐ญ๐ก ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ 2026: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad is pleased to announce that His Excellency Masanneh Nyuku Kinteh, Nonโ€‘Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of The Gambia to the Republic of the Philippines, presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, during an official ceremony held at Malacaรฑang Palace in Manila on Tuesday, 4th August 2026.

Presenting his credentials, Ambassador Kinteh conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of His Excellency Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia, to President Marcos Jr., the Government, and the people of the Republic of the Philippines. He reaffirmed

The Gambiaโ€™s commitment to strengthening the longstanding friendship between the two countries and to deepening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly agriculture, education, trade and investment, while fostering stronger peopleโ€‘toโ€‘people exchanges.

President Marcos Jr. warmly welcomed Ambassador Kinteh and congratulated him on his appointment as Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the Republic of the Philippines. The President expressed the commitment of the Government of the Republic of the Philippines to further strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation with The Gambia in areas of mutual interest.

Ambassador Kintehโ€™s accreditation will further consolidate the cordial relations between The Gambia and the Republic of the Philippines and create new opportunities for enhanced cooperation for the mutual benefit of the two countries and their peoples.
