BANJUL, 13th August 2025: On Wednesday, 6th August 2025, the Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea Bissau to The Gambia, His Excellency Luis Camara de Barros, paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Sering Modou Njie, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad.
Ambassador Camara de Barros congratulated Minister Njie on his recent appointment and conveyed his government’s best wishes for success in his new role.
During their discussions, Minister Njie reaffirmed The Gambia’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Njie expressed appreciation for Guinea Bissau’s support in regional initiatives and looked forward to deepening collaboration for the benefit of the peoples of both nations.
