On the 24th September 2024 a delegation led by His Excellency President Adama Barrow convened to represent The Gambia at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York. The UNGA convenes annually to evaluate and strengthen the efforts towards the 17 sustainable development goals

Heads of state are gathered to engage in discussions under the theme “Leaving no one behind: Acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations.”

President Barrow was accompanied by various cabinet ministers including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Information, the Secretary General and other high level officials.
