The Americas and Caribbean Affairs Directorate manages The Gambia’s diplomatic relations with countries in North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean. It also oversees engagement with major global institutions such as the United Nations (UN), International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB), and promotes South-South cooperation initiatives. The Directorate works to expand economic, technical, and cultural ties across these regions.
